Tour Description

The last ray of sun bathes on the horizon behind the rocks of the Capo Caccia mountain. When the sunlight disappears, you see the light beam of the lighthouse.

The Mistral wind vibrates as it collides with the shrouds of the sailboats moored in the port.

The seagulls glide to their shelters hidden among the stones of the ramparts built by the noble Doria family.

The voices speak in the Catalan dialect, melodious poetry reminiscent of the Catalan domination.

The sensations you feel landing in this city represent one of the hearts of Sardinia that beats to the rhythm of the waves of the sea.

Everything is colored in turquoise and blue tones, while when night falls, everything becomes a blue blanket, illuminated by the bright reflections of the stars and the moon.

Walking along the banks you can mirror yourself in the crystalline water, leaving footprints in the sand, each creating their own path of life.

Through a trip to the island you will discover new emotions, new panoramas to look at, but above all you will be able to rediscover the force of nature that will sculpt your mind reaching new limits of happiness.

Tourists can choose from many destinations that come together to form a rainbow of history, nature, food, music; an adventure of pure emotion.

Tour Program

1

First Day

We will pick you up directly at Fertilia airport with our transfer and take you to the hotel. We will cross the typical Sardinian countryside up to Alghero. You will receive a welcome cocktail and after having settled in you can walk freely along the banks and in the historic center which has a pedestrian area. You will find small shops offering local handicrafts, large boutiques, goldsmiths who create jewelery with red coral. Along all the streets you will come across kiosks or bars and typical restaurants. You can taste local food and wine. You can take a self-guided walking tour of the entire Catalan city, discovering its fascinating history, rich culture and majestic rampart walls overlooking the sea. You can walk over the walls and walk around the entire fortified perimeter. Let yourself be inspired by this city of universal beauty and its extraordinary architecture. You can also rent a scooter, a bike or an electric scooter. For the more romantic there is also a beautiful horse-drawn carriage ride. For the little ones but not only, there is the little train that goes all around the city.

2

Second Day

Nuragic culture fans will not be disappointed as we continue our tour of Alghero towards the Nuragic complex of Palmavera. The nuragic complex of Palmavera is made up of blocks of limestone and sandstone and consists of a central body with two towers, a barricade and a village of about fifty huts. The village was built during three phases and the oldest structures date back to the 15th century BC. Our program will lead us through the Mediterranean scrub to discover the Porto Conte Natural Park, the Capo Caccia Marine Protected Area, the Lighthouse, the Piccolo Principe park and the Teleia immersive museum. Lunch break Afternoon in the Riviera del Corallo, in the most beautiful beaches, such as Spiaggia delle Bombarde. Finally transfer to the hotel.

3

Third Day

Meeting at the Port of Alghero, about 3 min. walk from the hotel. The program includes departure from the Customs dock at 9.30. Boarding the ship for a guided tour of the caves of Neptune, with lunch on board. Typical Alghero cuisine based on fish caught of the day and local wine. The first destination is the enchanting promontory of Capo Caccia. Due to its position, the lighthouse of the same name was placed on this rock fortress which, being about 186 meters above sea level, represents the highest lighthouse in Italy. After a pleasant walk along the coast, we leave for the vault of the Foradada Island for a visit to its magnificent caves. This island is a huge limestone threshold, reachable only by sea, on board authorized boats. Visit to the caves The Grotte di Nettuno are not only the most famous but also the largest in all of Sardinia. The mini cruise ends with a stop for swimming and lunch, scheduled in the nearby and splendid Cala Dragunara or in any case in comfortable places for swimming, snorkelling and lunch. At 17:00 navigation begins for the return to the Port of Alghero with arrival scheduled for around 18:00.
